Next step complete!

Hello everyone, I've been working for the past few days on a LOT of back and forth with the pin manufacturer to work out a few details and make sure everything was just right before finalizing the order.

The big order has officially been sent off to the manufacturer and your pins will become physical within the next couple weeks!

I was told that because the order is SO large however, they will need to add a few extra days to make sure the pins meet quality control standards, which I agreed to. I would much rather have a few extra days added to production than to receive pins that are not up to the quality they should be. 

If you still need your survey don't worry! Just send me a message and I can give you a link to recover your survey. It looks like there are 21 surveys to be completed and I just sent out a couple recovery links this morning. The surveys are the only way I can get backers their reward, so don't leave your reward in limbo!

HEADS UP: I will be charging all cards today that were added into Backerkit for add-ons

This will finalize all the orders and then it's just a matter of waiting for everything to arrive so I can start packaging! =]

Travelling to SFAL / Planet Comic Con Kansas City (March 28 - April 2nd)

I will be flying out to Kansas City early on Thursday and will return very late next Monday, so if you have any questions or messages I may not be able to respond until I return. If it's to get your survey, a couple extra days will be OK in this case. If you're in the KC area and going to this show, I'll be in the artist alley at table 1547

Please check your emails for surveys

I have 30 surveys still waiting to be filled which is too many for me to make accurate estimates on how many of each pin I need to order. If you've already filled out your survey then you can ignore this bit - thank you! For those who haven't filled them out yet, please try to do so this week as I'd like to get the big final order into the manufacturer by Friday if possible, or Monday which which will still keep us on schedule.

If you can't find your survey please let me know and I can resend it to you, no problem there. :)

I just finished a crazy 4 days (plus 1 day of setup so 5 total) of convention life at Emerald City Comic Con and today I'm recouping my energy, so please forgive me in any slightly delayed responses today lol. 

Schedule

• March 22 - 25th Backer orders locked down and I make the big order to the manufacturer
• Last week of March - All other supplies ordered; backing cards, shipping stuff, etc.
• 3-ish Weeks after pins are ordered - they should be delivered sometimes between April 5th-April 13th, assuming there are no delays. Any delay will be updated as soon as it is realized.
• Last week of April - Fulfillment begins and orders start to go out! This process may take up to two weeks

Hi everyone! The time has come

I feel like I've given enough time for the tests to go through and so now you should have just received your survey or will shortly. Yay!

It's incredibly important that these are completed soon. The best time would be within the next two weeks in order to stay on schedule. I'd ideally like to get the pins ordered between March 18th-22nd, so if we can have most (or all) of the surveys done by then that would be most excellent!

I'll need all of your help in this step folks, since the survey is the only way for me to know how many of each pin to order. Except the LE pins because...well 100 of those of course lol. I know they're called 'surveys' which can sound not important, but this is how you finalize your order so without it your pledge is in a sort of limbo.

This will be your chance to add extra pins, choose which designs you want and grab some fun die-cut stickers. Remember your shipping amount should not change no matter how many items you add. For those that don't want the backing cards you can add that to your cart before checkout for free!

Backerkit to the rescue

I'm working with Backerkit which means that if you have any questions at all, they have a team ready to answer them for you. If you have a question while filling out your survey please utilize their system before sending questions to me, and that's totally not because I don't want to answer them - because I'd truly love to help-  but because they'll be able to get back to you much, much faster than I can. I also don't have access to their system so I'm limited in what I can do from my end.

If you can't seem to locate your survey though I will be more than happy to help with that. Just in case, check that spam folder in your email first because things tend to go missing there a lot.

Backerkit Surveys ~

Those of you who receive a survey today are playing an extra important roll - you will be helping me make sure everything is working correctly on the back end.

I'm using Backerkit to send out surveys so that everyone has the option to easily confirm addresses and add extra goodies to your order if you'd like - such as stickers and extra pins!  Since I have had this request a few times in the past, there will be an option in the add-on pin section called "GO GREEN" that lets you choose if you'd like to opt out of receiving backing cards with the open edition pins.

Timing ~

I'll need to allow at least 24 hours for the test surveys to go through before sending the rest, just to be sure everything is working as it should and there are no kinks. When the rest of the surveys are sent out I'll post another update.

Things are starting to move along again and I'm so excited to get these pins ordered and see them in person! Thank you everyone for your amazing patience and continued support. You will hear again from me very soon =]

The Pre-Order Store is Open, timeline update

Pre-Order Store

On the main page you'll see a button for the Pre-Order Store has appeared! This is for those who would like to pre-order pins who didn't make it in time to pledge during the KS. This store will stay open until the funds process from Kickstarter. Hopefully it's all working so please let me know if there's anything at all that's not working correctly. 

Then Kickstarter surveys will go out in about a couple weeks and backers will be able to see the extra sticker add-ons when you visit the store through your personal links that will be sent via email.

Timeline as of today

Now that I've gone through the steps in Backerkit to get everything set up, I have a clearer picture of what the timeline is going to look like moving forward. There will still be some variances so dates are not hard set, but it'll give us a good idea of what to expect and when! The timeline will be updated if there are any changes or updates made that significantly impact it.

• February 13 - Campaign ends
• February 28-March 8 - I'll receive the funds from Kickstarter within this period
• Within 1-2 days of receiving funds - Surveys will go out to all backers to confirm orders, add-ons, etc.
• March 18 - The faster I receive surveys the sooner I can order pins. This is the latest I'd like to place the order for pins. Final numbers are sent to the manufacturer and details finalized.
• March 18 (or soon after) - All other supplies ordered; backing cards, shipping stuff, etc.
• 3-ish Weeks after pins are ordered - they should be delivered sometimes between April 5th-April 13th, assuming there are no delays. 
• Last two weeks of April - Fulfillment begins and orders start to go out!
